Blue Origin wins $700 million NASA contract to build Mars orbiter

NASA has selected Jeff Bezos's Blue Origin to build the $700 million Mars Telecommunications Network (MTN) orbiter. The spacecraft will provide high-bandwidth communications and navigation services for current and future Mars missions rather than gathering its own scientific data. The system is expected to be operational at Mars by 2030.
