About 80 migrants dead after boat sinks off Gran Canaria

Spain's Maritime Rescue organisation confirmed approximately 80 people have died after a migrant boat got into difficulty off the coast of Gran Canaria. It is one of the deadliest migrant tragedies recorded on this Atlantic route in recent times.
