Netherlands repatriates over 80 tonnes of gold from US and Canada to London

The Dutch central bank has confirmed it repatriated billions of dollars worth of gold — more than 80 tonnes — from the United States and Canada, transferring the reserves to London. The move was prompted by rising geopolitical tensions, the bank said.
