Rome's Colosseo metro station nominated for world's most beautiful station award

Rome's new Colosseo – Fori Imperiali metro station, dubbed a museum-station, has been nominated for the Prix Versailles prize in architecture and design. Italian authorities are confident the station has no equal and stands a strong chance of winning the title of world's most beautiful metro station.
