Russian sabotage of European factories: a cheap strategy with major consequences
In mid-August, Sergei Lavrov warned that Russia would sharply escalate actions against everything supplying Ukraine's war machine from the West. Shortly after, arms depots and defence factories began burning across Europe, with evidence pointing overwhelmingly to Russian sabotage. The Kremlin's strategy has two key advantages: it could cut Ukraine off from Western aid and is relatively cheap to execute.
