SAFE programme gives Poland cheaper capital and stronger negotiating position

Marta Postuła, deputy head of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, told Business Insider that the EU's SAFE programme gives Poland not only additional defence funding but also access to cheaper capital. This strengthens Poland's negotiating position, as any competing offer must match SAFE's favourable financing terms. BGK plays a central role in implementing the programme.
