Norway seizes Russian research vessel at Ukraine's Naftogaz request

Norwegian police seized the Russian research vessel Profesor Molchanov at Svalbard, acting on a request from Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz, as reported by the newspaper Aftenposten. A Norwegian court authorized the seizure. Naftogaz is seeking to enforce compensation claims against Russia for assets seized by the Kremlin following the annexation of Crimea.
