Ukraine risks losing €4bn in EU aid over VAT exemption law

Ukraine risks losing nearly €4 billion from the next tranche of EU macro-financial assistance. European Commission spokesperson Balazs Ujvari stated that Kyiv must pass a law abolishing the VAT exemption on international parcels worth up to €150. Without that legislative change, the funds will not be disbursed.
