US signs deal to control a fifth of Venezuela's oil reserves

The United States has signed an agreement giving it control over approximately one fifth of Venezuela's oil reserves. A formal signing ceremony was held to mark the deal. Venezuela holds some of the world's largest proven oil reserves.
