Maltese tycoon Yorgen Fenech acquitted over murder of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia

Yorgen Fenech, one of Malta's wealthiest men, was found not guilty on both charges relating to the 2017 murder of anti-corruption journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. The verdict is a blow to her family and to press-freedom campaigners across Europe who viewed the case as a landmark. The prosecution is expected to appeal.
