Poland's NFZ to cut funding for GP clinics with poor quality scores from October

From 1 October, primary care clinics in Poland will be assessed under new quality indicators, with failure to meet certain criteria resulting in reduced funding from the National Health Fund (NFZ). The new rules are intended to motivate clinics to raise their standards of care. The system will apply to GP surgeries across the country.
