Google buys 400 MW of geothermal power from Fervo in Utah

Google has signed a deal with Fervo Energy to purchase 400 MW of enhanced geothermal power for its data centres in Utah. The agreement could expand to 1 gigawatt — enough to supply a very large AI data centre.
