Cersanit to lay off nearly 500 workers across five Polish plants

Cersanit, a ceramics manufacturer based in Kielce, plans to lay off 487 employees, confirmed by the district labour office in Krasnystaw. The cuts will affect plants in Krasnystaw, Starachowice, Opoczno, Radom and Wałbrzych. The company cited rising costs and declining orders as the reasons for the redundancies.
