Bergheim sabotage: police probe foreign state link and left-wing extremism
After sabotage hit a power substation in Bergheim, around 25 km west of Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia's interior minister Herbert Reul said investigators are pursuing two leads: a foreign state actor and left-wing extremists. Authorities are also examining a possible connection to a separate sabotage incident in Brandenburg.
