KNF removes error: Marshall Wace falsely shown shorting 100% of Syn2bio shares

The latest update to Poland's financial regulator KNF's short-selling register caused a stir among investors by showing London fund Marshall Wace with a 100% short position in Syn2bio — a physical impossibility. KNF quickly removed the erroneous entry. Separately, the register revealed a shrinking short position against Grupa Azoty shares held by the Hong Kong arm of Fidelity.
