Sality botnet dismantled after eight years of stealing Bitcoin and Ethereum

CrowdStrike and the US Department of Justice dismantled the Sality botnet, which had been stealing Bitcoin and Ethereum for eight years. The operation, spanning four countries, isolated more than 15,000 infected machines. It is one of the largest coordinated takedowns targeting cryptocurrency-stealing malware infrastructure.
