Ryanair cuts winter capacity as jet fuel hits $140 per barrel

Ryanair has cut its winter flight capacity to reduce exposure to unhedged jet fuel prices of $140 per barrel. The airline warned that the high energy costs are having a real economic impact on the aviation sector. Its annual passenger target was trimmed from 216 million to 214 million.
