UniCredit orders Russian clients to close accounts under ECB pressure

UniCredit, the last major European bank to remain active in Russia throughout the war, has told clients to close their accounts and withdraw their funds. The move was forced by the European Central Bank. However, the bank is reportedly seeking alternative ways to maintain its Russian revenue stream.
