New island forms in the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the Vistula near Mikoszewo

A new island has formed in the Baltic Sea near Mikoszewo, at the mouth of the Vistula River. The area is known for dramatic natural geomorphological changes, and the formation has drawn renewed attention to this stretch of the Polish coast. The beach at Mikoszewo may again become a tourist draw as a result.
