EU considers transferring frozen Russian state assets to support Ukraine

Ireland's foreign minister Helen McEntee said on Wednesday that using frozen Russian state assets is one of the options being discussed for further support to Ukraine. She acknowledged there is currently no EU consensus on the matter but expressed hope one would emerge over time. Such a move would mark a major shift in the bloc's sanctions policy.
