PiS split reshuffles Sejm hierarchy; Czarzasty announces compromise on seating
The formation of the Rozwój Plus parliamentary club following a split in PiS has pushed the Polish People's Party (PSL) and the Left further down the Sejm's hierarchy. Speaker Włodzimierz Czarzasty announced a compromise on seating arrangements after talks with Mateusz Morawiecki and Łukasz Schreiber. A decision on the new composition of the Sejm Presidium was postponed to allow parties time to reach a political consensus.
