FTC and 22 US states sue Amazon over $20bn in secret advertiser surcharges

The US Federal Trade Commission and 22 states have filed a lawsuit against Amazon, alleging the online retailer "secretly and systematically overcharged" advertisers by $20 billion. The FTC says these practices led to higher prices for consumers on groceries and other essential goods sold on Amazon. Amazon denies the allegations.
