Russia secretly helping Iran develop supersonic cruise missiles

Russia has for years been secretly assisting Iran in developing supersonic cruise missiles under a classified programme codenamed C430L, according to an investigation by the Financial Times. The new weapons could in future threaten US aircraft carriers and warships in the Middle East. The programme remains highly classified.
