Macron in London: opens Bayeux Tapestry exhibition, meets new PM Burnham

French President Emmanuel Macron has begun a two-day visit to the UK, becoming the first EU leader to meet new British Prime Minister Andy Burnham. He inaugurated a landmark exhibition of the approximately 950-year-old Bayeux Tapestry, on loan to the British Museum in London. The visit combines cultural diplomacy with a bilateral political meeting.
