Wisła, Legia and Zagłębie out of Polish Cup; Pogoń president slams PZPN format
Wisła Kraków, Legia Warsaw and Zagłębie Lubin were all eliminated in the first round of the Polish Cup, ending their chances of appearing in the May 2 final at the National Stadium. Pogoń Szczecin's president attacked PZPN on X, calling the competition format a "terrible strategy." Further first-round ties involving Widzew, Korona, Śląsk and Pogoń are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
