An 87-year-old woman opened her door to an unknown man in the middle of the night and lost 120,000 zloty to a fraudster before realising she had been deceived. Police warn that criminals are increasingly targeting elderly people during night-time hours to catch them off guard. Officers urge people never to open the door to strangers at night.
