Polish farmers want a veto on Ukrainian agricultural transit and look to Brussels for help

Polish farmers are alarmed by proposals to increase transit of Ukrainian agricultural products and fear growing competition. However, they stop short of calling for border closures, instead calling on the European Union to step in and regulate the issue. Former agriculture minister Jacek Janiszewski argues that Brussels should take responsibility for resolving the dispute.
