Man accused of killing Charlie Kirk to face murder trial with possible death penalty

A Utah judge has ruled that Tyler James Robinson, 23, accused of fatally shooting far-right activist Charlie Kirk in the neck during a campus rally in September 2025, will stand trial for murder. Robinson allegedly told investigators he was "fed up" with the "hate" Kirk spread. He faces the possibility of the death penalty.
