Poland on track for fewest new laws since 2000 in 2026

Data for the first half of 2026 suggest Poland may record its lowest rate of new legislation since 2000. The drop is driven mainly by fewer executive regulations. At the same time, individual laws are growing longer, meaning legislation is less frequent but more voluminous.
