Bessent meets Russia's Siłuanov at G20: "We must talk to end this war"

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent met Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at the G20 summit in Asheville. Defending the meeting, Bessent said that without talking to Russia, the war will never end. He acknowledged that some people reacted to the meeting with distaste.
