AI now drives 60% of web traffic, but 40% of agent projects may fail by 2027

AI-generated traffic already accounts for 60 percent of all web activity. Companies are tripling the number of AI agent deployments, but as many as 40 percent of those projects could be scrapped by end of 2027 due to token costs, hallucinations and lack of oversight. Experts warn of the internet being flooded with low-quality bot-generated content.
