ADA internal review rejects censorship claims after 5 members ejected from conference
The American Diabetes Association has released findings from an internal review into the ejection of five members from its scientific sessions in New Orleans in June. The members were removed after distributing an editorial criticizing federal funding cuts outside a hall where the NIH director was scheduled to speak. A five-person ADA-selected committee rejected claims that the organisation censored opinions or called police over the content of the commentary.
