JioHotstar launches globally in UK, Canada and Singapore — without sports content

JioHotstar, the streaming platform owned by Indian conglomerate Reliance, is launching in the UK, Canada and Singapore. The service will offer only entertainment content in these markets, without the sports coverage that forms a core part of its offering in India.
