Stan Kroenke buys controlling stake in MLB's LA Angels for his $26bn sports empire

Stan Kroenke has bought a controlling stake in MLB's Los Angeles Angels from Arte Moreno, adding the baseball franchise to a portfolio that already includes the LA Rams, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rapids and Arsenal. His company, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, is valued at over $26 billion. The deal further expands one of the world's largest sports empires.
