Putin threatens to expel Armenia from Eurasian bloc over EU integration plans

Vladimir Putin threatened Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan with expulsion from the Eurasian Economic Union if Armenia does not abandon its EU integration plans. Putin called for a referendum in Armenia to let citizens decide the country's geopolitical direction. "The people should always have a choice," the Russian leader said.
