Poland's deficit at 7% of GDP — economists warn of credit rating downgrade
Citi Handlowy chief economist Piotr Kalisz says Poland's general government deficit remains very high given current macroeconomic conditions, with little prospect of growing out of the debt. Markets are aware of the problem but Poland is currently benefiting from investor trust. Economists warn of a credit rating downgrade risk if the fiscal situation does not improve.
