Poland to receive €400 million reimbursement for weapons sent to Ukraine after months-long deadlock
Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence Helen McEntee announced on Tuesday a breakthrough in the EU's reimbursement mechanism for weapons supplied to Ukraine. Deputy Defence Minister Paweł Zalewski said Poland will receive €400 million next year, plus up to an additional €30 million from a separate fund. The payments had been blocked for several months before Tuesday's breakthrough.
