Paramount demands $1.88B bond from state AGs in antitrust trial over Warner Bros merger

Paramount has asked a federal judge to require the state attorneys general challenging its $111 billion merger with Warner Bros Discovery to post a $1.88 billion bond to cover potential losses from the antitrust lawsuit. California, New York and other states, along with the WGA, have rejected the demand. The antitrust trial is scheduled for September 24.
