Poland's UOKiK wants consumer ADR extended to disputes with non-EU businesses

Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) is proposing to extend the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) system to cover disputes with businesses from non-EU countries. Currently, ADR mainly applies to EU-based companies. The change would strengthen protection for Polish consumers buying from firms in third countries such as those in Asia.
