Tronchon wins chaotic Vuelta a España stage 10 sprint, Mas keeps red jersey

Bastien Tronchon of Groupama claimed a surprise victory on stage 10 of the Vuelta a España in a chaotic bunch sprint on Tuesday, with Magnus Cort Nielsen and Thibau Nys completing the podium ahead of Wout van Aert. Enric Mas retained the red jersey in the general classification ahead of Primoz Roglic and Felix Gall. Pre-race favourite Tadej Pogačar had abandoned the race after breaking his collarbone in a crash on Saturday.
