Russia upgrades bases near Finnish border to host 15,000 troops

Finnish broadcaster yle.fi reports that Russia is preparing to deploy 15,000 soldiers near the Finnish border. Satellite images show the modernisation of old military facilities, with new barracks under construction near Petrozavodsk, approximately 160 km from the Finnish border. Finland joined NATO.
