PKOl opposition plans to oust arrested president Piesiewicz on 8 September
PKOl vice-president Mieczysław Nowicki has convened a presidium meeting for 8 September. The opposition within the Polish Olympic Committee hopes that the board will on the same day remove arrested president Radosław Piesiewicz and appoint an acting head. Vice-president Adam Konopka cited plans for an audit and fears of further scandals following the sale of athletes' images to the zondacrypto company.
