Germany blames Russia for Leipzig drone attack and closes consulate in Bonn

German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt declared Russia responsible for an August drone-with-explosives incident at Leipzig airport. In response, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul announced the closure of Russia's consulate in Bonn and the Russian House cultural centre in Berlin. Russia has vowed to retaliate against what it called "anti-Russian" measures.
