Szłapka: Błaszczak undermined NATO's core principle with "defend Poland" comment

PiS MP and former defence minister Mariusz Błaszczak said Polish soldiers should "defend Poland" when asked whether they should support the Baltic states in the event of a Russian attack. Government spokesman Adam Szłapka sharply criticised the remark, saying Błaszczak had undermined NATO's core principle of collective defence under Article 5.
