Polish parliament holds public hearing on abolishing legal incapacitation

The Polish Sejm is holding a public hearing on Wednesday on a draft law that would abolish the institution of legal incapacitation. The initiative comes from the Ministry of Justice. The reform aims to replace incapacitation with a supported decision-making system, in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
