Latvia builds Baltic Defence Line with anti-tank ditches along Russian border

Construction of the Baltic Defence Line has begun in the Balvi region of northeastern Latvia, directly on the border with Russia. The fortifications will include anti-tank ditches and dragon's teeth barriers. Latvia's State Real Estate Agency officially confirmed the project, which is part of a broader plan to secure the eastern borders of the Baltic states.
