Russian strikes kill 12 in Kyiv on sixth consecutive day of attacks

Russian air strikes on Kyiv and the surrounding region on September 1 killed 12 people and injured many more, including three children, on the first day of the school year. Moscow used a new tactic, deploying swarms of jet-powered drones to strike the capital and nearby areas around the clock. It was the sixth consecutive day of intense Russian attacks on Kyiv.
