Pill testing returns to NSW music festivals from October, community rollout rejected

The New South Wales government announced that pill testing will return to music festivals from October, covering up to 15 events per year. NSW Health will consult with the festival industry and harm reduction organisations on the rollout. The programme will not be extended to the wider community, and the use of sniffer dogs and searches will continue despite objections from health groups.
