Seven Constitutional Tribunal judges demand president convene general assembly
Seven judges of the Constitutional Tribunal have sent a strongly worded letter to Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski, demanding he convene a General Assembly as soon as possible. The assembly is needed to adopt the Tribunal's budget plan for 2027, with the participation of all judges elected by the Sejm. The judges accuse Święczkowski of obstructing the Tribunal's functioning.
