Polish data protection chief: schools need better preparation for e-journal system

Poland's data protection authority chief issued a statement on the planned free state e-journal system that schools were expected to pilot from 1 September. The legislation underpinning the project was vetoed by the president, halting its rollout. The data protection chief stressed that schools need to be better prepared before such a system is launched.
